Belissa, a proud Los Angeles native, shares her inspiring journey from her early days in the ABC Diversity Showcase in 2018 to becoming a series regular on ABC's "The Baker and The Beauty." Her career has since skyrocketed, with notable roles in Disney's "Hocus Pocus 2" and DC's "Blue Beetle." Currently, she's lighting up the small screen alongside Reba McEntire in NBC’s new sitcom, "Happy’s Place."
In this episode, Belissa opens up about her experiences growing up in LA, the challenges and triumphs of her acting career, and what it means to be a part of the LGBTQ Latinx community in Hollywood. Her story is not only a testament to perseverance but also an inspiration for many young Latinas and LGBTQ individuals striving to make their mark in the world.
